2. Background and objectives

Nutritional epidemiological research is conducted in collaboration with national and international research institutes and large cohorts to identify associations between diet, nutrition and noncommunicable diseases. Research targets all levels - individual, population and environmental. We aim to contribute to society by providing scientific evidence on diet, nutrition and health.

Ⅰ National Center Cohort Collaborative for Advancing Population Health

We are participating in the research project at six National Centers.

Ⅱ Joint Research Project involving Industry, Academia and Government to Promote the Improvement of Food Environments

We are participating in the joint research project across centers within the institute.
