2. Background and objectives
Translational research to discover biomarkers and drug targets from clinical specimens has been actively conducted. In this project, the National Institute of Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition (NIBIOHN) and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Kyoto University collaborates to develop novel analytical and bioinformatics technologies that contribute to drug discovery by utilizing the clinical proteomics technologies and clinical data possessed by the NIBIOHN and the mass spectrometry, chromatography, and proteomics platform technologies possessed by the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Kyoto University.
3. Overview of our research
We have developed unique separation columns and functional probes using nano- and micro-materials synthesis technologies to improve our basic measurement capabilities and develop novel enrichment and analysis technologies.
